The committee of the Waiuku H and t Society met In the Wesley Hall Mr A *v Wallace presiding. The secretary presented a statement for the recent show reeelnu totalling £70 and expenditure £54 leav ing a credit balance of £16. The secretary was authorised to pay out the prize money forthwith. It was decided to award a certificate of merit to the Awhltu No 2 school in recognition of their good efforts In the school garden competition in the last two years. It was resolved to delete the farm produce sections from the March show and to incorporate same at a show later in the year. The committee decided to endeavour to inaugurate district courts at the next March show. Tho following were elected a sub-committee to canvaes for support in the various districts: Messrs. A. N. Wallace, C. J. West, C. ButtimorT H. M. Barriball and E. Hay (secretary). ' Special votes of thanks were accorded to Messrs. G. J. Mackay, F. R. Callachan W. E. Lippiatt, C. Buttimore, C. J. West and Mesdames A. N. Wallace and H. C Hay, sen.
