AGRICULTURAL RESEARCH.
■ CLAIMS OF WALLACEVILLE. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DTJNEDLn, Tuesday. The question of tho establishment oi an agricultural college was discussed ai a meeting of the Farmers' Union hert to-day. Addresses were given by Messrs Marshall and Begg, members of the Roard of Agriculture, who stated thai the difficulty of establishing a college was complicated by the fact that certair districts had received endowments. Ir the meantime Wallaceville should receive a grant to strengthen it in ordei that the research work vital to agriculturists, could be carried out. The following resolution was passed: "That this meeting heartily supports the Agricultural' Department in its proposa; to extend research work in the laboratories at Wallaceville."
