MINE MANAGERS' REPORTS. Lucky Phot.—Thp manage, reports that the drive 'at the low level on the course of the Mon mi talari cross reef has boon advanced a distance of 22ft. If still'maintains a width of isiu. and tins straightened up. and is more vertical than whore first cur. and carrying a good class of minerals. The manager recommends cnat tho directors let a contract to drive on this reef, to get the junction of the Golden Age reef, under whore th* old Monnstatnri 'Company had good values, when the-, held this property. Tho drive on the course of the ICvening Star Jsader has boon advanced 12ft. There is a fair amount of water soakage coming from tho face, which is a good indication that the cross reef is close at hand. Kurnuui—Tin manager reports that the drive west on ! »ss roof has been extended six foot, total 71 foot, from tho main crosscut. The reef averages one foot wide, and looks well. Gold is still obtained by dish washing, but has not boon seen. Drive past on Koss roof has boon extended eight feet, total 147 feet, from main crosscut. Tho roof is still split up into stringers about two inches wide, and gives a little gold by dish washing, hut no gold in the stone. The country on both walls of the reef is improving, not, being so much disturbed. Tho drive north on cross leader lias boon extended 13 feot. total 60 feet, troin side of drive on Koss. reef. This lender still look's well, being about six inches! wide of clean quartz, carrying nice mineral, and shows gold by dish washing, 'n-' no gold was sppii in the stone. We are still in a splendid class of country, it being full of small quartz stringers running into the loader, which should make stone.
