OBITUARY.
MISS FLORENCE WELLS. The death is announced of Miss Florence Wells, one of the most gifted infant mistresses in the service. Miss Wells taught at Maungawhau School for some years, and much of the success of the school was due to her ahle and devoted work. About twelve months ago she had to go on leave owing to illhealth. Pupils and ex-pupils of the school will deeply grieve to hear of her death, for besides being a most successful teacher, she was personally beloved. Miss Wells was a sister of Mr. T. U. Wells, the well-known educationist.
