VICTORIAN "FASCISTI."
irOlf-FOMTICAI. "MOVE. " MELBOURNE, November 2. Captain J. 0. Hatcher (inspector of seamen at the Mercantile Marine Office) states that there has never been any secrecy about the Victorian branch of the British Fascists since its formation. The movement was not aimed against constitutional authority, but was in favour of peace and quietness, God and country. The movement was non-political, nonsectarian, and directed against nobody but the extreme Communists and "red raggers." The Prime Minister (Mr. S. M. Bruce), in a statement, said he knew of no Fascists in Australia, The Government entirely dissociated itself from any pri» vate or independent movement to maintain law and order in the community. (A. and N.Z. Cable.)
