A LABOUR REQUEST.
To-day Mr. John Lee, M.P., dispatched the following telegram to the Prime Minister, who is staying at the Grand Hotel:—Hon. Gordon Coates, Minister of Public Works, Auckland: Understand you addressed stop-work meeting Public Works men, St. Helier's camp, this morning. Will you allow Labour party same facility to-morrow (Tuesday)? — John Lee, MP.
