A NEW ANAESTHETIC.
VALUE OF CARBON DIOXIDE. NEW YORK. November 1. Dr. Bran Sword. nf Newhaven, reported that carbon dioxide had been usefully administered in anaesthesia, and had Jessenei the anaesthetic necessary to produce unconsciousness. It had shortened the patient's recovery, and also proved a valuable resuscitative. — (A. and N.Z. Cable.)
