THE GREEK INVASION. COUNTRYSIDE A DESERT. DESTRUCTION IN BULGARIA. (By Cable.— Fress Association.—Copyright.l ' (Received 10.30 a.m.) LONDON, November 1. The Sofia correspondent of the "Times" says that atrocities occurred in live villages. It is alleged by the Bulgarian commission, officially sent to report on tho territory occupied by tbe Greeks, that the area resembled a desert. The commission declares that all cattle and other animals and household belongings were carried off, and a rich harvest of tobacco, rice, and wheat wantonlydestroyed. It also alleged that portraits of King Boris were vulgarly mutilated.—"Times."
