SEASON OPENS AT HAMILTON
The cr:cs-.ct season in Hamilton opened on Saturday. Hamilton East defeated Railways by an innings and 33 runs. Hamilton East made 151 in the first innings (Skeat P. 4 not out,. Johnston 32, Loughlin 31', r.arnett 20), awl Railways replied with 41* and 69. In their match with Hamilton, the High School team mad. 30 in the first innings (Senior 10), and 15 for four wickets in the second. Hamilton put on 100 iv their first innings (.1. Pomeroy 35, Money 21, Taylor 14, Camp; bell 12). Old Boys compiled 115 (Leni-. nan 39, Latta 23) in their first innings against Frankton, -who replied with 160 (Rahine GO. Connelly 34, Smallwood 12, Hawke 12. Armstrong 11). Old Boys went in again to make 30 for one wicket (Latfa 13, Allea 14 not out).
