KNOCKED DOTS' BY MOTOL VAN. inertly before 2 o'eioek to-day. Mrs. J. B. Guy. while crossing Queen Street. was knocked dowr. by _ motor van driven by Walter 0. Hal], and owned by '-. A. Newton and Company, she came from outside Milne and Choree';-. l>etween two motor cars, "evidently rauea to ooserve the approach of the ran " wa - taken into 3L : lne and Choyce's. and was attended to by Dr txagen. after which she was able to proceed home. The injuries consisted ef'a bruised leg. and she was suffering from shock. A painful injury to the head was sustained ;.y Mr. Sam Poruoa. who was engaged in unloading coal from the Whanrape at the Ring's wharf this morning. lie injured man iv - L he hold of the vessel when a bmr. of coal fell from a basket and streak him on the head, infiicting a painful wound.
