Accused having pleaded guilty to both' charges, was committed to the Suprem* Court for sentence.

Mr/ A. G. Quartley. who appeared for Eves, applied for the suppression of accused's name pending his appearance at the Supreme Court. Eves, he said, had never been in trouble before.

Mr. Poynton: I'm afraid I cannot suppress the name in this case.

Mr. Quartley: Well, sir. as a matter of principle, and also as the accused is not being finally dealt with by your Worship, I would again urge you to suppress the name. Mr. Povnton: The public is interested in this case. It is a case different from one where a man has a brain storm and commits an offence. This man was placed in a position of trust and stole on two occasions. No order will be made.
