COUNCILLOR EXPRESSES REGRET.

I CAMBRIDGE COUNCIL INCIDENT. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) CAMBRIDGE, Tuesday. At an adjourned meeting of the I Borough 'Council, held last evening, the playor (Mr. T. F. Richards) presiding, : the following resolution was carried: i " The Council extends to his Worship the playor sympathy in the unpleasant situation occasioned at the Council table on I Thursday evening last, together with a councillor's uncalled for attack, and the Council assures his Worship of the confidence and support of councillors in the administration of the" affairs of the I .Borough, and that the forearuing be ; recorded in the minutes." !
