N.S.W. FOOTBALLERS.
ENTERTAINED AT WHANGAREI. (By Telegrapn.—-Own Correspondent.) WHANGAREI, this day. The N.S.W. footballers were tendersd a civic reception on arrival yesterday afternoon. Last night they were the guests at a dance promoted in their honour, and a similar function is being held this evening. They were entertained at lunch to-day by the Whangarei Rotarian.. A full programme has been arranged, whereby the scenic beauties of the district will be visited, also the industries, including the Portland cement and Hikurangi coal mines. The weather promises to be fine for to-morrow's match, and it is anticipated that a big crowd will gather at Kensington Park to witness the contest. The , { visitors are in popular favour.
