Company. meetings of shareholders have been convened to be held in London on September 30 and October 13 to pass, and also to confirm, the proposal nt the directors, to return to shareholders .""> of the capital per share held. Some time asro the shareholders had return.-il to them 10 per share of the capital.
MINE MANAGERS' REPORTS. New Waiotahi. — The mine manager reports that at the intermediate drive the reef has been driven on hillwnrd off. for the week: strong: blotches of gold continue to be seen in the quartz taken down. About _oft of driving should reach the junction with th . reef followed in the drive below. The crosscut for the Waiotahi-Cambria reef has been extended .'lSft for the week,. leaving St.ft to reach the estimated course of the reef. The face ls in solid country, but cannot say whether ir is the footwall of the breaK ot" not until further driving has been done.
