NEW YORK FEUD.
PITILESS GANG WAR. _____ NEW YORK, September 7. Gang warfare on a large scale is feared as the result of the killing of Morris Grossman, a notorious bandit leader. Grossman's gang has had a bitter feud with a rival faction, and his killing, which was carried out with fiendish thoroughness, is laid at the latter's door. The police to-day found a partially charred body in a burned automobile in the heart of the city. That charred mass is now stated definitely to be all that remains of Morris Grc«6man. Hands and feet were bound, and in the head were five bullet wounds. The police are making preparations for the underworld warfare which they feel certain will now break out.
