BURGLARY AT WAIHI.
» PRIVATE RESIDENCE ROBBED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WAIHI, this day. The residence of Mr. Robert Sheath, of Bradford Street, was burglariously entered on Saturday night during his absence on the afternoon shift at the mine, and while other, members of the family were at the pictures. The burglars apparently gained access by a window. A locked chest containing about £40 in notes and gold was forced and the money taken.
