Says "Football Fan" :—There has been: so much controversy regarding the respecI tive merits of the Queensland League players and the 1924 All Blacks as'-foot-ballers, that I think the officials controlling both Rugby and League should have some thought for -the football public'and arrange a match in Auckland between these two teams. The obstacles in the way of such a match, i.e., the differences in the rules and in the number of players could be very easily overcome. The Queenslanders" are-such great footballers, and such splendid sports, that I urn sure they would gladly play the Rugby Ccion game for this one'match."' With one or-two weeks' coaching in ..the--rules they would uot-vdoubt be able to adapt themselves' to the.'Kugby game, and play it" every bit as. well us they, do the Rugby League.
