COAL MINE DISPUTES.
GREYMOUTH AND BLACKBALL. (By Telegraph.—-Press Association.) GREYMOUTH, this day. The State coal miners held a stopwork meeting to-day in connection with the timbering dispute, and decided to send a deputation to the Minister of Mines in Wellington. Meanwhile the mine remains idle. It is understood that Blackball miners decided to adhere to a five day week from to-morrow. A collision between "a wagon driven by a Chinaman and a motor bus occurred in Havelock Street shortly after half-past two o'clock this afternoon. The motor bus. which was the property of the Auckland Transport Company, was pulled up in quick time, and only minor damage -waa done. None of the passengers in the bus was injured.
