BOROUGH -INSPECTORS EXONERATED. (By Telegraph.—Otvn Correspondent.) HAMILTON, Thursday. A special meeting of the Hamilton' iqrough. Council was held last evening n committee to .consider accusations nade against the borough inspectors.! is far as the more serious matter was! oneerned, nothing very definite was ad-' anced, and after fully considering the j vhole position the council passed the foiowing resolution:— "That the council place on record that :he present inspectors have carried out :heir duties- in accordance with requirenents of the Government as set out in ;he regulations, its satisfaction with the .nspectors' methods and that it has the fullest confidence in the senior inspector."
