NUMBER OF DIVORCES. • • A FAITHLESS WIFE. Petitions for divorce. and restitution of conjugal rights were hoard in the Supreme Court to-day by Mr. Justice Alpers. Woodbine Charles Day <Mr. J. J. Sullivan) was granted a decree nisi in respect of his marriage with Amy Day. They wedded in August, 1913. In 1920, the wife obtained an order, and they lived apart. Since then the wife had admitted misconduct and the admission was filed. A decree nisi was granted. John Price Davis (Mr. Gould) petitioned for a divorce from Nora Ann Davis (Mr. McLiver) whom he married in 191."). There were two children. A separation order was made, and they parted finally in 1!»1S. A decree nisi was made. Myrtle Walker' (Mr. Singer) was. granted a decree nisi in respect of her marriage with Thomas Phillip Walker. In September, 1024, after five years of married life, petitioner obtained a decree for restitution of conjugal rights. This was not complied with. Misconduct was the ground on which Henrietta Durrant (Mr. McLiver) relied in seeking a divorce from Percy Johansen Durrant, whom she married in Xovember, 1921. They had not lived together since December, 1923. There were two children. J. L. Potter, private inquiry agent, said he had served respondent. Recently he had served respondent with papers as co-respondent in another divorce action. He had admitted misconduct. Attributing his matrimonial trials and difficulties to the fact that he was twenty years older than his wife. James Phillip Weal (Mr. Trimmer) sought a decree for restitution of conjugal rights, since his wife. Olga Urrnith Weal, had refused to follow him to Whangarei, where he wag stationed. There were three children, all of whom were now over age. In 1917 petitioner obtained a separation order, and since then she had not seen respondent. A decree nisi was granted.
