THE FLIGHT TO HAWAII. AMERICAN NAVY PLAN. MANY SHIPS ENGAGED. (By Cable—Press Association.—Copyright.) WASHINGTON, August 23. The naval aeroplanes which are to carry out the flight to Hawaii- are expected to start across the ocean next Friday from Man Francisco. The miifliiiH'-i wore to have left San Diego tiiis morninpr. 24 hours later than was originally intended. The High! will be under Commander John Rodgcrs. The 'planes are expected to complete the flight in a little more than 2.5 hours. Naval vessels will be stationed along the route. The first lap, to be commenced to-day. will be a non-stop flight to San Francisco. (A. and N.Z. Cable.)
