COLLIDING SHIPS LOCK.
DRIFT ASHORE TOGETHER. LONDON, August 23. There has been a remarkable collision off Bolthead between the British and French schooners Pursuit and Boywill. in which they became interlocked, the impact throwing the crews on their backs. The crews took to the boat l ; and landed. Meanwhile the ships drifted, still locked together, and eventually struck the rocks.—(A. and N.Z. Cable.)
