COLLISION IN KHYBER PASS.
BUS AND TRAM POLE. MAX'S WKIST ES'JUEED. In Khyber Pass yesterday morning, one of the. motor buses plying for hire between the city and St. Heliers Bay, w as following an Otahuhu bus up the till, towards Symonds Street. At the corner of Huntly Avenue, a tramcar stopped, and the vehicle in front pulled up. The St. Heliers Bay bus was travellins , close behind, and, to avoid a collision, the driver swerved sharply to the right. A corner of the bus then strjck"a tramway pole. A man. named Barclay Handal, of St. Heliers Bay, Who was standing near the entrance to the vehicle, had his wrist fractured. He was taken to the hospital, and, after heing given treatment, was able to go home. The wind-screen of the bus was Eha tie red.
