EMPIRE EXHIBITION.
NO SUNDAY ADMISSION. (Received 10.30 a.m.) LONDON, August 14. The Empire Exhibition authorities rejected the suggestion of Mr. Ben Tillett, M.P., to open free on Sundays, charging only for attendance at competitions and for coupons. The committee advised that this was equivalent to charging for admission, which was illegal.— (A. and N.Z. Cable.)
