CHRISTCHURCH FESTIVITIES.
A CQLD SNAP. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, Friday. The American Fleet visitors are not being favoured by good weather. Following frost and a sunny forenoon rain set in later, and the balance of the day was bitterly cold. During the clay a fair number went to the Metropolitan Trotting Meeting. Others spent the time sight-seeing and visiting. In the morning a large party were the guests of the ■ Sumner Borough Council Rear-Admiral Schofiejd tendered a luncheon on board the Omaha to friends. A party of officers took part in a hare drive at Springfield. The "bag - ' was more than could be carried. A dance was tendered to officers this evening.
