A SUNDAY WELCOME
SERVICE IN THE TOWN HALL. The Congregational Churches of Auckland have arranged to give the American sailors a hearty welcome on Sunday. Both morning and evening the city and suburban churches are uniting to" hold services in the Town Hall. There will be special music, including solos, and a massed choir of 250 voices will lead the singing. Rev. Stanley Morrison is to be the preacher in the morning and the Rev. Lionel B. Fletcher in the evening. The services will be open to the general public.
After the morning service a large number of sailors who have responded to invitations will be introduced to families, who will entertain them during the day.
