OBITUARY.
MRS. ELIZABETH McKERRAS. Death has removed another old colonist in the person of Mrs. Elizabeth McKerras, in her ninety-second year. Deceased came to New Zealand from Bolton, Lancashire, in the ship May Queen (Captain Tatehell) in October. 1878. She settled first in the Tuakan district, where she remained for about 35 years, afterwards moving to Wharehine, near Port Albert, where she resided j for nine years. Since the end of that period, and up till the time of her death, Mrs. McKerras has lived at the home of , her eldest son, Mr. J. B. Moffatt, Rewa I Road. Mount Roskill, Auckland. She is jeurvived by three sons, sixteen grandchildren, and thirty-seven great-grand-children. The sone arc Mr. J. B. Moffatt (Mount Roskill), Mr. J, G. Moffatt (Avondale), and Mr. W. H. Moffatt (Victoria, Australia).
