The Arapuni . Medical. Association I applied to the Waikato Hospital Board to-day for special rates for members. It was stated that the association Jmd 800 members, and would guarantee payment of fees if a, good concession was granted. The secretary of the board (Mr. Conradi) said thkt £200 in fees wore owing by Arapuni workmen, and there was litle chance of recovering any of this money, owinj* to the fact tha"t the men were migratory. It would be better to fix a lower fee' and be sure of getting it. The board decided to grant admittance at 0/6 per day for adults, and 4/0 for children.
