NEXT WEEK'S ROUTE MARCH.

ON WEDNESDAY AT 2 P.M.

THE LINE OF MARCH APPROVED.

A route march by 2000 sailors and marines of the American Fleet will take place on Wednesday of next week, starting ■from the Queen's wharf at 2 p.m. The following line of march has been approved by Admiral Robison:— Tho men will assemble between the Queen's and Prince's wharves, and march up Queen Street, past the Town Hall, which will be the saluting base, to Karangahape Road, along Karangahape Road to Symonds Street, down Symonda Street from its junction with Karangahape Road, through Anzac Avenue and by way of Customs Street East to Queen Street and back to the point of departure. The line of route is two and ahalf miles long, and the Deputy-Mayor, Mr. J. A. Warnock, will take the ealute as tho troops file past the Town Hall.
