FIRST BRINK IN NEW ZEALAND.
When the Fleet was coining to an anchor yesterday one of the seaplanes descended by its own particular battleship, and was about to be hoisted on board when someone, in a passing launch from -the .shore held up a bottle of beer invitingly. The . airman signalled, to come closer, and as the launch, ran alongside he got out on the wing of Ms machine and seized the prof erred hospitality. And that was how the American Navy had its first drink in New Zealand. People seem quite certain that although America went dry by a majority everyone in the Fleet must belong to the minority, as a matter of course.
