ANOTHER SMALL STRIKE. COMMONWEALTH LINE HANDS. SYDXEY, August IT. The Commonwealth Shipping Line is again involved in trouble with ttie Seamen's T'nion. On the voyage from London of the •Tervis Bay several of the hands refused to carry out certain duties and were logged. The Seamen's Union demanded that the logpinsr be cancelled, but the management of the line refused. When the crew of the vessel were asked to renew their articles 26 men refused to sign on aeain. A call at the shipping master's office for men to take their places was unsuccessful. Efforts are being made to arrange for a conference between the management and the union.
