The, complaining has been going on for months, but the Tramways Committee reported last evening that the department was still experimenting. It is fair to say that according to the chairman of the committee a mistake made by English exporters" has delayed matters, but this does not materially affect the situation. Long ago it should have been clear to the authorities that the choice of solid tyres was a blunder.
