WILHELM THE ELDER.
HOHENZOLLERN OUTBURST.
GERMANS WANT KAISER.
"A CO-OPERATOR OF GOD."
(By Cable—Press Association.—Copyright.)
(Received 11 a.m.)
BERLIN, August 5.
The ex-Kaiser of Germany, interviewed by the Budapest newspaper "Pesth Irlap," made a remarkable outburst.
He declared: "Every man is the instrument of God. My whole life and work has been directed by the will of God, hence a holy calm pervades mc." Ho added: 'To-day's so-called democracy meant death for the nation. People in their hearts preferred a monarchy. I trust the character and the fidelity of the German people. They are waiting — so am I." /
He said he regarded a worker as an aristocrat, hence a co-operator of God."— (A. and X.Z. Cable.)
