PROTEST FROM HAIRIXI. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) TE AMAMUTU, this day. A meeting of dairy farmers at Hairini last night, unanimously protested against any other method of electing the Dairy Control .Board than by the single ward i system as suppliers of the New Zealand Dairy Company. The meeting also protested against Mr Goodfellow wastin" the time of the company trying to secure other means of election; further, that as Mr. Grounds, as chairman, is the mouthpiece of the Control Board, Mr. Goodfellow, should not interfere. MEETINGS AT WAHAROA AND MATAMATA. In furthering his campaign ror th. directorship and alteration or articles or the association of the N.Z. Co-op n a irv Company, Mr. Sam. Lye, or Newstead addressed meetings at Waharoa and Matamata. At both places he was given a most attentive hearing, and at the nnish or each meeting a number of questions were ' asked and answered. . At Matamata the i Town Hall was packed to the doors, and I was presided over by Mr. S. Marsh. Mr Lye spoke on the lines or his previous addresses, and received votes of thanks and confidence at each place. Motions in favour or altering the articles, as outlined by the speaker, were carried.
