LEAGUE FOOTBALL.
THE TOURING TEAM. The 23 members of the New Zealand League team to tour Australia have indulged in useful training each day this week, and all report themselves as fit and well to leave for Sydney on Friday. This afternoon 13 of the number are engaged playing against an Auckland team at Carlaw Park, and the result of tho game will be published in the "Star" second edition. In honour of the three members of the Devonport Club, Messrs. B. Laing, C. Webb, and H. Dixon, to be included in the New Zeatand team, the club has arranged_ a social and dance to be held at the Foresters' Hall, Devonport, tomorrow evening.
