The members of the Auckland Ladles" Golf Club played the first round for the captain's prize at the Middlomore links yesterday. The following are the results of the games : Misses Martin and Rafhbone beat Mrs. McDonald and Miss I'pton. 1 up. at the nineteenth : Mesdames Ruddock and Dargavlile bear Misses Roberton and Ridings, li and 5: Miss Payton and Mrs. Robertson beat Mesdames Neville and Fleming, 3 and 2 : Mesdames Wrisiht and Joyce beat Misses Holmes and Hanna, 4 and 2: Mesdames Miles and Louisson beat Misses MacCnrmick and Hamlin. 4 and .'1 ; Misses Cooper and Collins beat the Misses Cutlield, 4 and 2 : Miss Orr and Mrs. Fenton beat Mesdames Smith and Macindoe, 1 up at tho twentieth; Mesdames Marshal! and Hughes beat Misses Cameron and Prater. 2 and 1: Mesdames Ilenrv and Richmond heat Mrs. R.ilnger and Miss Ravl.-w, 1 up; Mrs. Wilson and Miss Wilson 'won from Mesdames Morris and Martin hy default : Mrs. Price and Miss Bavlev bent Mesdames Revell and Whetter, !i nnd S; Misses Henderson and Buddie beat Mesdames Hanna and Gorrie, 2 up; Miss Gill and Mrs. Ilellaby boat. Mesdames Rutherford and Foster. 5 and 4 ; Misses Macfarlane bent Miss McfJovern nnd Mrs. Abel, 4 and 2 : Mesdames Abbott and Grant beat Misses Rose and Knight. 2 up. A bogey match will he played next Tuesday.
