I Sir, —The real reason "New Zealander" j could not get a job fa owing to the fact that the clerical profession is over- " crowded, and it is young men like hint wbo cause it, not the llomies. The headmasters of the Grammar Schools and 5 others have publicly vouched for this. Your correspondent says you never see " | Homics on the roads, but how does he s.know? There are plenty of them doing jlaliouring work, including skilled workers. 1. I would not advise Homics to come 3 j here, but the Government does, so they 3 are entitled to live, nnd they have to " I take what they can. "N.Z." should have 3 ! taken the £2 and worked his way up, 1 j but of course £2 is not enough to get 5 I your hair waved on and wear expensive fc i clothes, and so on. —I am, etc., || OLD N.Z.
