MINERS IN BRITAIN.
MR. A. J. COOK'S ASSERTION. LOXDOX. June 7. Mr. A. J. Cook, general secretary of the Millers' Federation, made a remarkably cryptic speech at Chopwcll. Durham. He said: — "Before God and man I am doing my duty. I have never received one penny from anyone except the trades union which 1 represent. I know there are men who have done so."
