SIDE CAR FATALITY.
■ DEATH OF A WIDOW. , _______ i SUCCUMBS TO IXJUF.IES. <B_r Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. Mrs. Annie Champion, who wa» injured on Thursday evening in a motorcycle mishap in Kent Terrace, died is the hospital yesterday. Mrs. Champion was a widow, and resided at Otaki. She was riding jn. the side-car of a motor-cycle driven by Mr. Lynn Thetford, of Kilbirnie. The cycle struck a pedestrian who was not severely injured, and then swerved into a "verandapost. It is not known exactly how Mrs. Champion's injuriej were sustained, but it is probable that the sidecar was overturned. She was removed to the hospital suffering from Serious injuries to her head, which, according to to-day's telegram, have ended fatally. =_t
