SALE OF TOBACCO.
(To the Editor.) Sir. —May I endorse the remarks from the Wellington Tobacconist Association, re license of sellers of the fragrant weed. Something of the sort should l>e introduced at once, to stop a most unfair competition. Other traders would surely compelled to cense business at say 7 p.m., then their same line of business to be continued by all and sundry, who are not compelled to close, is grossly unfair. Licenses should he issued and penalties made. —I am, etc.. AUCKLAND TOBACCONIST.
