SAFE WAY TO WASH HAIR WITHOUT SOAP. Hair Is probably the most easily damaged thing about us, and if we were not careless by shampooing it with soap or ready-mixed shampoos we would have virtually no hair troubles. Most soaps and -eridv.mixed shompoos have too much alkali, which dries the scalp and makes hair dead-looking or brittle. Really the most elegant and sare thin? to use is ordinary colinated cocoanut oil 'a pure saponified, but quite greaseless liquid . wbicb is not at all expensive—< but is far, far better than soaps or other scalp-injurious things. Every chemist keeps a supply or thi.s. and a few ounces la.-t you and mother, sisters and brothers for months. Just wet the hair with water and rub it through—thoroughly. One or two teaspoonfuls is plenty to create a big quantity of rich, heavy, creamy lather. It cleanses delightfully, and rinses out easily. The hair dries quickly and easily, and comes out a brilliant, soft, fluffy, wavy and fresh as a daisy, looking much thicker than it actually is. Best of all. this colinated cocoanut oil leaves the hair as easy to dress again as though you hadn't washed it at all. And yet It loosens and carries o!T every bit or excess oiliness, dust, dirt, or dandruff scurf. (IMPORTANT.—Do not ronruse Colinated Cocoanut Oil with cheap and sticky concentrated or saponified cocoanut ofls, or raw cocoanut oils. There is only one genuine Colinated Cocoanut Oil, nongreasy, and is compounded only by tne International Laboratories. Look for the maker's name on every bottle to secure satisfaction.).— (Ad.)
