BASKETBALL.
The results of the knock-out tournament held on the Training College grounds on Saturday are as follow: — Senior (Final). —Edendale 11. beat Training College A 10. The play of both these teams was of a very high standard, the passing of the winning team throughout the game being admirable. Second Grade.—All the matches were closely contested, and lt was only after brilliant play that Interhouse A 12, beat Y.W.C.A. B 8, in the final. The third and fourth grade play was also of a very high standard, the finals resulting as follow:—Third : Eaglets 4. beat Waratah 2. Fourth : Eaglets 10, beat Training College 8.
