BUTCHER WITH AN AXE. THEN HANGS HIMSELF. (Received 2.110 p.m.) BERLIN, June 7. Following on family quarrels, a basketmaker at Coburg killed his wife, his mother, his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, and the latter's five children, their ages ranging from two to nineteen years. He butchered them with an axe while they were sleeping. The murderer than hanged himself. (A. and N.Z. Cable.)
