RIFLE SHOOTING
AKARANA CLUB. The season 1024-25 of the Akarann Rifle Club was brought to a close recently nfter a series of good keen competitions In all sections. Kifieman E. .7. C. Reston. who shot very consistently all through the season, wins the Akarnnu Shield ami Average Trophy with the good average of 4.25 per shot. Despite his Rood shooting, it was not by any means a walk-over, the popular president, S. Elliott, being very close up with 4.24 to Ills credit, W. I 3 owell, last .venr's champion, being third.
