INQUEST ON A CHILD.
DEATH THROUGH BURNING. (From Our Own Correspondent.) TE AWAMUTU, Wednesday
The inquest on the infant son of Mr. T. H. Wyllie, which was fatally burned at Korakanui on Monday morning, was Held at Kihikihi before Mr. W. S?Lees (coroner) and the following jury: Messrs. McFlinn (foreman), Stewart, Anderson and Price.
After evidence had been given by Mr. and Mrs. Wyllie, a verdict was returned that the child accidentally met its death as a result of burning, no blame being attachable to anyone. The coroner added a rider expressing sympathy with the parents in their sad loss.
