The Australian delegation lodged the sole protest against the resolution passed by ttic International Council of \\omen, rending: "Jt is resolved that in order to get the best results from their voting power, women when enfranchised should join political parties and torm groups within their own parties for the discussion of the special woman? viewpoint on all political questions, and through which they can unite to influence them." The Australians issued a statement declaring: "It is necessary to constantly protest that the National Louncil is entirely disconnected from party politics, and we disagree to any proposal which leads to the confusion of the mind of tho public, and advises women to form groups in political pnrties for consideration of sectional interests."—l A. and N.Z.)
