WAIUKU NEWS.
FOOTBALL. Waiuku Rugby Union matches played on Saturday resulted : — Seniors.—Pirates 14, beat Rovers 6. This game was a fairly even one. but Pirates lasted out better than their opponents. For the winners Eade, Flavcll and W, Smith scored tries. McDonald converted one, and also kicked a penalty goal. For Rovers T. Aylward scored a try, which was converted by L. McNamara. Mr. N. Johnston had charge of the game. Juniors.—Rovers 6, beat Pirates 3. J. Hill kicked a penalty goal, and S. Jones notched a try for the winners, whilst C. Ducker scored for the losers. Referee : Mr. S. M. Chatfleld. WAIUKU GOLF CLUB. MEDAL MATCH. The first monthly medal match of the Waiuku Golf Club took place on Saturday, the results being as follows : Colheck.
