U.S. FLEET CRUISE.
" WILL BE CONDUCTED AS SCHEDULED.'' t WASHINGTON, April 2.1. The Secretary for the Navy (Mr. Wilbur), in a statement answering the latest objections which have been raised to the Australian cruise of the I".S. fleet, said the cruise would be conducted as scheduled, and that only a few protests had been received. Mr. Wilbur declined to discuss a letter . he had received from Mr- Fredrick Libby. ', of the National Council for the Prevention of War. who staled that the psychological effects of the cruise were all on the side of misunderstandings, even in Australia, but no less so in the I'nited States and Japan. -Mr. Wilbur said all such objections] from all such organisations were i answered by (lie form of flic letter, which j stated that'the purpose of the cruise was to further international friendship and] peace. i
