New York on Friday liy the Berengaria. is to be detained by the Customs after -she disembarks on a charge of failure to declare three pieces of jewellery, valued at .HIO.OOU francs. It is stated that she will also be aliarged with attempting to smuggle Hi bottles of liquor into the country.— (Renter.)
