ALLEGED EMBEZZLEMENT.
(Hy Telegraph—Fre.ss Association.) CIIKISTCHUKCIT, Sunday. Al the Magistrate's Court, Charles Henry Ailkens, aged 52 years, an accountant, now of Invercargill. was charged with having embezzled £37 received on account of the Stony Creek Sawmillillg Proprietary Company on December IS, 1922. at Stawell, Victoria. He was remanded for a week on bail.
